[Middx.] A. 2236. Grant by John son and heir of William de Wilehale, the
elder, late citizen of London, to Eustace, the prior, and the canons of Holy
Trinity, London, of all the rent with lands, &c., formerly his said father's,
by London market between Ysmongereslane and land formerly Peter son
of Alan's ; which they had by grant of William de Astone and Robert son
of Hernis', executors, and Master Thomas Aswy, canon of St. Paul's,
London, ' ordinator ' of the will of the said William, for the support of
three chaplains, canons or regulars, to celebrate perpetually. Witnesses :
Sir Gregory de Rokesle, Mayor of London, William le Mazerer and Robert
de Basinges, sheriffs, and others (named). Christmas day, 7 Edward I.
