Oontrabreve to let Aubrey de Fiscampis and Peter de Winton, clerks and keepers of the wardrobe, have 100 marks out of the issues of the exchange to buy jewels for the king against the coming feast of St. Edward as enjoined, as he loves the king and his honour and his own safety, seeing that the king, to his vexation, has no money at present to make his purveyances against the said feast.
To the same. Oontrabreve to let Osbert de Stanton, clerk of Edmund the king's son, have 20 marks without fail out of the said issues to buy jewels for the said Edmund against the coming feast of the Circumcision. |
