Whereas Master John Maunsell, lately deceased, by will bequeathed
to Amabel his niece certain of his houses in the city of London, by
Castle Baynard, which before that were of Roger le Taylor, sometime
buyer of the wardrobe, and the said Amabel has granted them to
Master Thomas de la Leye, king's clerk, and William his brother;
the king confirms this grant and wills that Thomas and William or
their heirs shall n o t be molested in a n y way, if the said John or Roger
i s bound to the king in any reckonings or debts with regard to t he
s a id houses. |
