To the sheriffs of London. Contrabreve to value by them -selves and by other good and lawful men of the city, in the
presence of John de Swyneford, the king's chamberl{tin of London, as has been usual at other times, 100 tuns of wine which the
king ordered him to take there ; and to carry 20 tuns thereof to the
Tower of London, 60 to Westminster, and 20 to Wyndesore, to
be lodged safely in the king's cellars. |
