Acknowledgment that Poncius de Mora, chamberlain of London,
Westminster, has rendered his account in the wardrobe before Robert Aguillun and Peter de Wintonia, keeper of the wardrobe, of the whole time in which he has been the king's chamberlain of London and buyer of his wines until Tuesday after Martinmas, 57 Henry III, and after all on
audit of such aceoxmt, due allowances, the king is bound to them in
1,372£. 9s. 6|rf. for allowances wherein he was bound to him for wine
bought by him to the king's use, with the condition that if any'assignment
of money shall be made to him and that money shall happen to be
received by him or his men, then that amount shall be deducted from
the said sum ; and the king or his heirs will pay him that money as
soon as possible.
Quittance also to him of all accounts and reckonings in which he
was bound to the king. |
