The following day came Philip Lenfant, skinner, before the
Chamberlain, in the presence of John de Wengrave and Henry
de Durham, Aldermen, and acknowledged himself bound to
Richardin le Vyolour in the sum of 20 marks ; to be paid at
mid-Lent, &c. And he pays nothing for enrolment at the
instance of John de Wengrave, who mainprised him. |
