Whereas the king ought to have paid 201. last Michaelmas for 10 tuns of wine taken at London from Stephen de Castro, servant of Master Peter Gaylardi clerk of the count of Poitiers, by Reynold de Suffolk,
chamberlain of London, as is testified by Adam de Novo Mercato, the steward, and he only paid 101 ; he promises to the said Peter to
pay the remaining 10L on the quinzaine of Easter next, together with
401 m which he is bound for 20 tuns of wine of purchase taken from
his said servant at London by the said chamberlain, as is testified by Walter de Croppinges, the Steward. |
