229 Grant by William de Arundel (s), horse-dealer, to brother William le Rous, m. of ssx, of two shops with a solar, rooms and yards between the tenement formerly of Roger de Appelbi in the S., that of the prior of Kenelworth in the N., Smethefeld in the E. William received the two shops from Simon de Westeye, joiner. The income must be used for a chaplain celebrating divine service each day for all the faithful departed in SBH. Wit.
