Monday before the Feast of All Saints [i Nov.], 12 Edward
I. [A.D. 1284], was read in full Hasting- in Pleas of Land2
a certain writing- whereby Gilbert, son of William le Braeler,
quitclaimed to John le Marberer and Edith his wife certain
land and houses in the parish of St. Dunstan, near the new
Temple, acquired by gift and feoffment of William le Gaunter
and Matilda his wife, for a rose to be paid at Midsummer.
