Tuesday the eve of St. Peter ad Vincula [i Aug.], 13 Edward
I. [A.D. 1285], Henry de Evere, Richard de Caumpes,
XVJ</> Richard de Evere, Henry le Bole, John de Riplawe, and Geoffrey
de St. Alban came to the Guildhall before Sir Ralph de Sandwich,
Warden of the City, and acknowledged themselves bound
to Bartholomew de Rivers, merchant of "
Tholouse," in the sum
of 8 15.?. for wine sold to Henry de Evere; to be paid to the
said Bartholomew, or to Simon Godard his attorney, on Monday
after the Feast of the Assumption [15 Aug.] ; and unless, &c. |
