Liberate to John de Gizorc', citizen of London, 100 marks for which he gave credit at the king's request to the king's serjeantsat-arms on their wages, which sum was due at t he last Michaelmas Exchequer, as testified by the king's letters patent (Calendar of Patent Rolls, 1247- 1258, p . 97), which are to be received from him on payment of the money. |
