Woodstock, crossbows, 20 one-foot crossbows (ad duos pedes .... ad
unum pedem), and 15,000 or 20,000 quarrels to be delivered by the
constable of the Tower, and carry them night and day to t.hP.
king with all speed for delivery in the wardrobe, not failing hereof
as they love themselves and all their possessions.
Mandate to the constable of the Tower to deliver the said
quarrels. |
