and purveyances made for the king in the fairs of N orhampton
and St. Edmund's in the 39th year, by the hands of himself and
of John de Stratford, king's clerk, against the king's arrival in
England from Gascony, as is understood by the t estimony of
l~oger the tailor, king's serjeant. Cancelled quia aliter inferius.
