Monday before the Feast of St. Alphege [19 April], 5 Edward
II. [a.d. 13 12], came John de Wynchester, "barbier,"
before the Chamberlain, in the presence of William Servat,
xx(/. Nicholas Pycot, and Nigel Drury,' Aldermen, and acknowledged
himself bound to William de Shirebourne, perpetual Vicar of
Estgrenewych, in the sum of £10 ; to be paid at Pentecost,
&c.
(Afterwards the said John came and satisfied the said William
of his money in the presence of the Chamberlain, and so was
quit.) |
