Wednesday the morrow of St. Lucia [13 Dec.], 7 Edward I. [A.D. 1278], came William de Bray, currier, to the house of Hugh Motun, Chamberlain, and acknowledged himself bound to Ralph Poyntel, of the same craft (ejusdem officii], in the sum of 66s. 6d. for leather ; the same to be paid, viz., 6s. 6d. on Christmas Eve, 2cw. at Easter, and so from term to term 2CW. until the whole be paid; and unless, &c. |
