Monday after the Feast of St. Luke [18 Oct.], 15 Edward I.
[A.D. 1287], was read a certain writing- whereby Thomas, son
of Edward le Blund, demised to Hugh de Chelmersford and
Alice his wife two houses in the parish of St Benedict Shorhog,
situate near the tenements of William le Mazeliner and
Laurence le Ganter,
2 for the term of their lives, at an annual
rent of 44^. Witnesses, Sir Ralph de Sandwych, Warden of
the City ; William de Hereford and Thomas Stanes, Sheriffs ;
