Saturday the eve of SS. Peter and Paul [29 June], 20 Edward
I. [A.D. 1292], came Ralph Godchep, mercer, and acknowledged
himself bound to William de Bettoyne and William
nil- Beck, executors and mainpernors of Jurdan Godchep, in the
sum of 173 6s. 4</. ; to be paid at Michaelmas.
(Because the said Ralph acknowledged the debt in the King's
Exchequer, his recognizance is cancelled and annulled.) |
