Friday after the same Feast Sir John Soudan (Sondan?)
received at the hands of Robert de Kingston and William
de "Bettuyn" the sum of 100?. for William le Brun, being
the amount of a judgment given against the said William le
Brun in the court of Walter le Blund, Sheriff, and also the
nil. amount in which the said William de "Bettoyne" was bound
to the said William le Brun for the purchase of a certain rent.
And it was adjudged by Sir H. le Galeys, then Mayor, and
other citizens in full Husting that the said William de Bettoyne

should pay the said Sir John on behalf of the said William le
Brun the sum specified.
