Mandate to Luke de Luka and his fellows, merchants of Lucca, to pay Westminster, to the following persons 23H/. (Is. 10rf., to wit, to— Edmund the king's brother, 833/. Us. 8d. being part of 1700 marks, arrears or 2000 marks granted to him by Henry III. in aid of his pilgrimage lo the Holy Land.
Hugulin de Euuichio and Loterus Bonawyd and their fellows, merchants of Florence, 500 marks iu discharge of all debts of the king to them.
Master Robert de Bevcrlaco, keeper of the works at Westminster,
202/. 19*. 9d. to wit 48*. lOJrf. paid by him for works on the king's
mews to divers workmen for their wages from Sunday after 3 May,
4 Edward I., to Sunday, All Saints' day following; 9/. 10*. 5t}d.
for timber, cord, canvas, laths and nails, bought for those works;
135/. 6*. (id. for divers purchases for the works in the palace there
from Monday after 30 November, 4 Edward I. to Sunday, All
Saints' Day following; 55/. 13s. lid. wages of masons and other
workmen on the same.

terms yearly fee which she receives at the Exchequer.
Elias de Rabayn, constable of Corfe castle, 20 marks for the present
year, granted to him for the custody thereof.
Anthony Bek, constable of the Tower of London,' SO/, for Michaelmas
term, 4 Edward 1. of the 100/. yearly which he receives for the
custody thereof.
Philip de Wileby 10 marks for the scrutiny of the chirographer's chest
of tbe Jews of L[on]don, and for a scrutiny of writings in the abbey
of Tborneton in Uoldernesse.
Master Ralph de Freinyngham, one of the justices of the Bench, 10/. in
aid of his expenses.
Peter de Gyzors, 82/. for wines and other necessaries taken from him to
the king's use.
Nutus de Florencia 70 marks delivered for the king to John de Boun
in part payment of a debt of the king to him.
Eamo Hauteyn and Robert de Ludeharo, justices appointed for the
custody of the Jews, 20/., to wit, 10/. each, in aid of their expenses.
Eleanor, the king's mother, 442/. 18s. lOd. for divers old debts to her.
Gilbert atte Pnye 10 marks for the release of \\d. daily, which he
used to receive at tbe Exchequer of Henry III,
Anthony Bek, constable of the Tower of London, 50/. of his yearly
100/. for Easter term.
Elias de Rabayn, constable of Corfe castle, 20 marks for the 20 marks
which he receives of the farm of Briteport for Michaelmas term,
2 Edward I. for the custody of the said castle, and which the bailiffs
of Briteport have, it is said, paid at the Exchequer.
Robert le Balls, citizen of Winchester, 20/. for a loan to the king,
48 Henry III.
Gregory do Rockesle, chamberlain of London, 18/. l I s . 3d. for 18 tuns
of wine of the right prise taken by him and delivered to the constable
of the Tower of London, and for boats for the same to the
Tower.
The said Gregory and Poncins de Mora, chamberlains of London, 30/.
for 30 tuns of wine of the right prise, and 60s. for carriage of the
same from Sandwich to London.
William le Gardiner 20s. for which he released to tho king 51*. 6</.
arrears of wages.
Christiana late the wife of Peter le Flecker, 20s. for which she
released 60s. 5d. arrears of wages.
W. archbishop of York, late keeper of the Tower of London, 50/., for
Michaelmas term, 1 Edward I. of the 100/. yearly he used to

Exchequer, which they have surrendered to be cancelled on the roll of the
