The same day came Leticia, wife of Thomas le " Woder,"
and in the presence of Richard de Gloucester' and Anketyn de
Gisors," Aldermen, acknowledg-ed herself bound to John, son of
Thomas le " Wodere," in the sum of £60 ; to be paid in the
year 13 14, the said Leticia accounting- for profits arising- from
the said money in the meantime. Thereupon came Ralph le
Balancer and Peter de Hatfeld and bound themselves severally
to pay the aforesaid money and to account for the profits in
case of default by the said Leticia, &c. |
