(Thursday after the Feast of St. Laurence [10 Aug.],
16 Edward I. [A.D. 1288], came the aforesaid John and
appointed Elias Anker his attorney to receive the money ; and
on Wednesday after the Feast of St. Edmund, Conf. [20 Nov.],
22 Edward I. [A.D. 1293], came Elias Anker and acknowledged
that Sir John le Blound, executor of Anketin de Bettevile, had
satisfied him of the money mentioned in the above recognizance,
which is therefore cancelled.) |
