Demise for life, indented, by Gregory de Rokesle and Nicholas de Winton', wardens of London Bridge, and the brethren of the same Bridge, to Ralph Godhale and Sarre his wife, of land in the parish of St Mary de la Helle (at Hill), between the tenement of reginald le vanwere (vannere) on the N, and the tenement of bernard de Stebenheth on the S, and the land belonging to the church of st margaret de patyns on the E and the royal highway on the w; for an annual rent of 14s. Gersumia 1mk for the fabric of the Bridge. Sealing clause. NB a separate not, on paper in a ?mid 19th cent hand, records basic details of the deed; a different (?contemorary) hand notes that 'Tow seals different, the one of the husband and the other of the wife' - i.e. both were still there when this written?
