the feast of St. Edward.
To the sheriffs of London. Gontrabreve to pay for two sufficient
embroidered copes for the choir, which William de Plessetis will
buy for the king, and of which the king will send one to the
feretory of St. Thomas the martyr, and will offer the other in
St. Peter's church at Westminster when he comes there on the
feast of St. Edward, the price to be credited in the farm of their
town or in their tallage.
