grant by prior himbert (sic.,) and the convent of bermundesey, to michale tovi, warden of London bridge, for the up-keep of the said bridge, of 17 acres of land in the fields of suthwerk, whereof 14 were formerly held of the pior and convent aforesaid by ralph carbunel, and 3 by richard de pecham; rendering therefore to the grantors 14s 10d per annum. each of the parties undertakes not to encroach upon the lands, whether free or villein, of the other, outside london.
