Allocate to William Hardel, keeper of the exchange, in the issues thereof, Bl. 2s. 3d. delivered [to Adam] de Bassing for orphreys and other ornamentation (apparatu) used to adorn and make a
chasuble, tu[nic and dalma]tic of two pieces of samite taken in
the wardrobe and delivered to Bertram de Crioll to place in St.
Mary's church in Dover castle; 5l s. 6d. for embroidered ornaments
(paruris) with a stole, amice, maniples, cuffs (Ponell') and
collar (lamb ell') delivered to the same Bertram for the like purpose ;
48s. 9d. delivered to the said Adam for orphreys and other ornamentation
used to adorn and make three chasubles of three cloths
of Arest taken in the wardrobe and delivered to Bertram to place
in the three chapels in Dover castle; 2s. for the ornamentation
and making of three sets of ornaments with stoles, maniples, amices,
cuffs (ponell' ) and collars made of the remnants of the sa~d cloths,
delivered to Bertram for the same purpose; 23s. 4d. delivered to
Reiner de Luk for a white silken cloth of Venice ordered to be
made into a chasuble which was placed in St. Peter's church at
Westminster on the Friday after the Puiification; 49s. 6d.

in the church of St. Beatus at Westminster together with the said

46s. delivered to the wife of Philip le Peverer and to Roger la
Seer' for orphreys and other ornamentation to adorn and make
a cope of green samite bought of Reiner de Luk which th? king
offered in the same church at the same date ; and 26s. 5d. delivered
to the same Adam for orphreys and other ornamentation to ad?rn
and make a patterned (fretellat') chasuble, ornaments, an armce,
stole, maniples, cU:ffs, (ponell') collar, a bag (cassam), a corporal
and a border for the hat of Edward the king's son, out of two silk
cloths of Arest taken against Easter. |
