To the sheriffs of London. Contrabreve on their love and loyalty to the king, to carry to Evesham without delay by
Monday, the morrow of St. Thomas the apostle, as they will be more fully informed by Hugh de Turri and Robert de Linton, buyers for the wardrobe, the wax, robes, napkins, towels, and other small necessaries for the wardrobe, which the king ordered the said buyers to bring to Evesham by that date against the coming Christmas, not failing thereof as they love the king's honour and their own and as the king trusts them. |
