transcript made by orde of hamo de broc of the charter by which the executors of roger son of bartholomew de sco. martino sold to him a messuage in st. agnes’ parish within aldredesgate, he paying thence yearly to the canons of st. martin’s le grand towards the pitance of the vicars 16d. for which sale the said hamo acquitted the above roger in jewry towards jacob son of fluria and fluria daughter fo thee said jacob of 20 marks and gave them to the above executors to acquit roger’s other debts and to perform his exequies. witn. reyner de bungeye, mayor of london, michael tovy and john de cisors, sheriffs of london, michael de sca elena, alderman and others [ad. 1240-1241]. hamo de broc had this copy made for the more security of the payment of the said 16d. to the vicars and of his grant of his houses in st. agnes' parish to the dean and canons of st. martin’s. witns. william son of richard, mayor of london, thomas son of richard and william gratefige, sheriffs of london and others [ad 1257-1258]
