375. Grant by Serlo son of Hugh to Martin son of Kenewald, with the assent of Robert son of Edward, of the land which Robert held of him in fee and inheritance in St Martin's parish, to be held by Martin and his heirs of Serb o and his heirs at an annual rent of 5s. Gersum of is. [c. 1200]
Sciant tam presentes quam futuri quod ego Serb o filius Hugonis dimisi et concessi Martino filio Kenewaldi, assensu et voluntate Roberti filii Edwardi, totam terram quam idem Robertus de me tenuit in feodo et hereditate in parochia Sancti Martini. Tenendam finabiliter ipsi et heredibus suis de me et heredibus meis; reddendo inde annuatim michi et heredibus meis quinque solidos pro omni servicio, scilicet: ad Pascham duos solidos et sex denarios, et duos solidos et sex denarios ad Festum Sancti Michaelis. Pro hac autem dimissione et concessione dedit mihi iamdictus Martinus xij denarios in gersummam. Et ego Serlo et heredes mei ipsi Martino et heredibus suis contra omnes homines et feminas predictam terram waranti[za]bimus.
