A. 1679. Grant by Stephen, the prior, and the convent of Christchurch,
London, to John Sprakeling, of land in Colemanchurche parish
which Gunilda held, paying I2d. yearly. For this grant John has given a
sextary of wine to the convent, a bezant to the prior, and sworn fealty
on the gospels. The land is 130 feet by 28 feet. Witnesses : John
Bucuinte, Henry son of Ailwin, Richard son of Reiner, Roger son of Alan,
and others (named). [Henry III.]
