Confirmation by William Little to Alexander son of Henry, and Edith daughter of Geoffrey de Barra, and their sons, of the whole plot of land in the vill of Westminster which Osmund son of Roger Ursel gave him and confirmed by charter, to hold in inheritance of William and his heirs, at an annual rent of is. Sciant tam presentes quam futuril quod ego Willelmus Parvus dedi et concessi et hac presenti carta mea confirmavi Alexandro filio Henrici et Edithe filie Galfridi de Barra et eorum pueris totam illam partem terre quam Osmundus filius Rogeri Ursel michi dedit, et carta sua confirmavit, in villa Westmonasterii: habendam et tenendam hereditarie sibi et heredibus suis, de me et heredibus meis, libere, pacifice et quiete per servicium duodecim denariorum annuatim, reddendorum ad quatuor terminos anni pro omni servicio et omni exactione, scilicet: ad Festum Sancti Michaelis tres denarios; ad Natale Domini tres denarios; ad Pascha tres denarios; ad Festum Sancti Johannis Baptiste tres denarios. Ego autem Willelmus et heredes mei warantizabimus predicto Alexandro et predicte Edithe et eorum pueris predictam partem terre, cum omnibus pertinenciis et liberis consuetudinibus eidem parte terre pertinentibus, per predictum servicium contra omnes gentes. Et sciendum quod predictus Alexander et Editha possunt facere heredes suos de quibuscumque puerorum suorum voluerint ad tenendum istam partem terre hereditarie, sicut predictum est. Et pro hac donatione et concessione et presentis carte mee confirmatione, dedit michi predictus Alexander tres marcas argenti et dimidiam in gersummam.
