Thursday next before le Hokeday, the same year, came Thomas
de Derby, cordwainer, to the shop of Hugh Motun, and acknowledged
himself bound to Matthew de Bures, merchant of Spain,
in the sum of 6 icw. for leather; the same to be paid at the
Feast of St. James [25 July], viz., two-thirds in round, undipped
pence and the rest in good halfpence ; and unless, &c. |
