Saturday after Ash Wednesday John de Berkhamstede,
saddler, acknowledged himself bound to Robert Wylebeck in
the sum of 4 lOs. for herring ; to be paid at Whitsuntide. In
default, the said Robert may hold the house of the said John,
in the parish of St. John Zakary, for a term of eleven years,
paying only a red rose at Midsummer. This recognizance was
made before William de Farndone and Hugh Motun.
