Covenant of William fitz (filius) richard citizen of London and Thomas de Chelke, chaplain of London bridge, to perform all services due and accustomed t othe chruch of St Peter of Gaunt, for certain lands and tenements purchased by them in the town of Leuesham, in the fee of the same church, of the which they were enfeoffed by charter of Adam fitz (filius) Aleseander of Leuesham, with the assent of Tericus, prior of Leueseham, proctor-general of the aforesaid church in England, out of revernece for Queen Eleaner, and if contention shall arises concerning the same services between us and the prior aforesaid, they shall be settled in the presence of the queen, or of trustworthy men chosen for the purpose by both parties.
