Convention, indented, between Adrian Eswy on the one hand and Masters (Dnos') Michael Toui and Robert de Basinges, proctors of London Bridge and the brethren of the same place on the other hand, wherein the former demises to the latter for the term of 15 years as from Easter 35 Henry III (1251), all his land in Cantstrete in the parish of Camberwelle; to wit 20 acres of arable land and seven acres of meadow lying on either side of the road leading towards kent, for the sum of £20 down and an annual rent of 42d payable to Reginald de brettingehurst and his heirs.
