A1614 Confirmation by Geoffrey , son of Geoffrey Alderman, of the grant made by Reginald , son of William de Hauvile, his grandson, to Salomon de Basing’, of a rent of 8s in the parish of St. Mary of Abechurch, issuing from land which was Hugh de Toting’s; and of two shops in the parish of St. Mary of Arches, situate as described; which premises he warrants to Salomon, and ‘in contraplegium’ thereof has alloted him his house in Colemannecherche parish, towards Alegate, and two houses in the parish of Wlnodmariecherch, situate as described; which three houses, in case of failure of such warranty, Salomon shall hold till Geoffrey or his heirs have secured to him 14s. 6d quitrent.
