A. 1625. Grant by Roger Sibbyllyng, son and heir of Thomas
Sybbylling, citizen of London, to John de Bocton, citizen and cofferer of
London, for 1001., of land with the buildings thereon in the parish of St.
Bartholomew the Less, London ; paying yearly to himself and his heirs 6d.,
to London Bridge 5*., to the canons of Holy Trinity 4*., to the brethren
of the Hospital of St. Giles without London 3s. Qd., to the heirs of Peter
Danyel Id., and to Henry de Sancto Albano half a pound of cummin.
Witnesses : Sir Ralph de Sandwico, Warden of London, Walter Hauteyn
and Thomas Cros, sheriffs, Robert de Arraz, alderman of that ward, and

Endorsed: Grant by Michael Tovy, the warden, and the brethren of
London Bridge, to Thomas Sybelyng, mercer, for 30 marcs, of the tenement
in the parish of St. Bartholomew the Less, London, which they had by
gift of Henry de la Gare and Isoude de Tatesale his wife; paying them
therefor yearly 5s., to the canons of Holy Trinity 4s., to the brethren of
St. Giles Hospital 2s. 6d., and to the heirs of Peter Daniel Id. Witnesses :
