A. 2330. Grant by Ralph de Alegate, of London, clerk, to Elyas de
Tolesan, clerk, of 30*. yearly quit rent he recovered in the King's Court at
Westminster against William de Hadestok and Joan his wife, issuing from a tenement in the parish of St. Martin in the Vintry in the lane called
'Pikardeslane,' stretching southwards "usque ad Slum aque Tamisie."
Witnesses : Gregory de Rokesle, Mayor of London, William le Mazelmer
and Robert de Basynges, sheriffs, Henry de Coventre, alderman of the ward,
