[London.] . A. 7829. Feoffment by Adam son of Richard le Chaufoner to Adam
de Stratton, clerk, of a place of land between his tenement and the said
Adam's in the parish of St. Sepulchre without Newegate, extending from
the prison of Flete in length to the little lane (parvam vendlam regiam
which reaches from the bailey without Newegate to the Flete;
it was uniformly 3 feet wide and on it the said Adam was to build a wall of
stone or earth or a paling (palKcium) at his pleasure between their
respective tenements. Witnesses: Thomas son of Thomas, then
mayor of London, Edward le Blund and Peter Anger [Aungier], sheriffs, Michael
Tovy, alderman of the ward, Richard de Enefeld, Richard le Bedel, Henry
le Wympler and other. |
