Sunday after the Feast of SS. Philip and James [i May],
15 Edward I. [A.D. 1287], Andrew le Formager demises to
Robert de Malleton, tailor, and Agnes his wife his tenement in
the parish of St. Mary de Wolcherchawe, near the tenements
of Walter de Berdene and Thomas de Conduit. To hold for
the term of eight years from Easter, paying 29 marks in hand
and an annual rent of i mark. The lessees to take other rents
and to pay to Hugh le Blound and Thomas Romeyn certain
specified sums. The lessor to be allowed to build a chamber
outside the tenement of the said Hugh and to have access to a
solar beyond (ultra) the chamber during daytime for the
purpose of storing merchandise therein. In case of sale or
grant of further term by the lessor, the lessees to have
priority by one mark. Witnesses, Sir Ralph de Sandwych,
