Deed by Matthew le Chaundeler, citezen of London, wherin he covenents that if at the end of 13 years the messuage he has in the parish of St Michael Candlewickstreet, which was leased to him for 13 years in the first instance by Tyffania and Olive, daughters of Anselm the weigher being then unmarried, and then a further 3 years by the said Olive and Tyffanie [sic] and Hugh Everard, fishmonger, husband of the same Syffania, shall not be in as good condition as when it was received, the leasors shall entre and retain. Sealing clause. Dated Thursday next after the feast of the Purification of the BVM 31 Ed I (7 Feb 1303)
