To William Hardel. Contrabreve to cause Simon de Ver to have 80 marks of the 100 marks which the king gave to him to
come to him on his service in Gascony ; Richard son of Reynold to have 70 marks of the 80 marks which the king granted to him as an imprest for the same pmpose ; John de Sengham to have 20 marks of the 30 marks which the king gave him for the same purpose ; J ohn de Ingham to have the like ; and Robert de Hoylaund to have 12! marks of the 20 marks which the king gave
him for the same purpose ; all out of the 200Z. which William
received from the Exchequer to take to Dertemut h, and the
money which remained to him [at] Portesm' at the passage of the
king's knights overseas to him in Gascony.
Allocate to William Hardel, keeper of the mint of London,
in the issues t hereof, 107s. l cl. spent on 4 silver dishes and as many
saucers, and 5s. 5cl. for the work thereof ; 5l s. Bel. on a silver
pot (justa ), and 10s. for the work and [gold] thereof ; and l 6s. on
a silver salt-cellar, and 3s. for the work and gold t hereof ; all
made by order of the king for Edward his son.
