Liberate to Thomas de Stanes, goldsmith, 7ls. lOd. for a cup (cuppa) sent to the king at Canterbury on the vigil of the Ascension, 9l. 17s. 4d. for three cups sent to the king at Dover, lOOs. for a cup which the king gave to the hospital of St. Thomas of Acon at London to contain the Eucharist, and 6 marks for a cup which the king gave to the prior of the Holy Trinity in London for the same use, all in the 30th year; to Edward de Westm' king' s clerk , 12Z. 15s. 5id. for the solemn celebration of the' anniversary of J. formerly queen of Scotland the king's sister on the morrow of St. Lucy in this year and for feeding poor persons
in the king's great hall of Westminster for her soul, 12Z. Zs . 2d. for
feeding poor persons in the same hall on the feast of the apostles
Peter and Paul in the 30th year, and 54Z. 4s. for feeding poor
persons in t he king's greater and lesser halls at Westminster on
Christmas Day in this year and the four following days ; and to
Remy de Frowik, goldsmith, 59l. Zs. 5d. for a gold cup worth
9 marks 10s. which the Iring gave this year to St. Edmund's abbey
