Whereas the king granted to Richard do Ewell, king's serjeant, buyer of.the wardrobe, some marriage and wardship of the value ot

his son all the wardships and marriages whioh might fall in until

his son should receive satisfaction for a sum of money wherein the
king was bound to him; and whereas Master William de Clifford, late
escheator on this side Trent, by order of the king assigned to the said
Richard the marriage of the heir of William de Bello Campo of Eton,
lately deceased, who held of the king in chief, whoso lands have been
extended .at 100s. a year, to hold in part satisfaction of his said grant
of a marriage of 100?. yearly of land ; the king grants to the said Richard
that so soon as tho said assignment has boon made to the said John and
another assignment to Peter do Ohaumpvent has been made, the king
will provide for the said Richard in the said marriage and wardship
before all others. |
