Notification that the king is sending John de Stratford and Richard de Ewelle to the fair of Northampton to make prises to his use of cloths and
furs (peluris) and other necessaries against Christmas and to arrest cloths
as well of the realm as from elsewhere that are against the assize proclaimed
long ago at the fair of Stanford: and all to be intendant to them.
Writ of aid for them to the mayor and bailiffs of Northampton.
