Power to John, abbot of Peterborough, the treasurer, or any other
treasurer for the time being to pay, out of the first moneys coming
to the exchequer of Michaelmas, to Richard de Ewell and Hugh de Turri, buyers of the king's wardrobe, 650?. for cloths, fur and other
goods, bought for the use of the king and queen in the last fair of
St. Ives, according to a writ of Liberate which the treasurer and chamberlains
have; so that the said money be paid before any other. |
