to pay out of the 10,000 marks of that fine which remain unpaid, 120?.
to Roger de Leyburn, in part satisfaction of his expenses in the
munition of the king's castle of Rochester in the forty-eighth year
and in the defence thereof against the king's enemies in the siege of
the castle in that year; and the king, after allowance made to them
of 800 marks thereof, which the king granted to Edward his son,
will cause the 120k to be allowed to them in the first payment of
the residue of the said 10,000 marks. |
