To the mayor and sheriffs of London. Order to deliver from prison Richard Asshewy, Adam le Taverner, Ivo le Lyngedraper, John de Cumb, William de Bixhill and John de Coventry, whom the mayor and sheriffs detain in Neugate for certain trespasses charged upon them, and to restore to them all their goods and chattels arrested for this cause, if they will swear on the gospels before the mayor and sheriffs that: they will not stay any longer in the city, nor return thither without the licence of the king and of the citizens, |
